Luke 8:54-56

54 But Jesus[a] gently took her by the hand and said,[b] “Child, get up.” 55 Her[c] spirit returned,[d] and she got up immediately. Then[e] he told them to give her something to eat. 56 Her[f] parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one[g] what had happened.

  2. Luke 8:54 tn Grk “and called, saying.” This is redundant in contemporary English and has been simplified in the translation to “and said.”
